EXHIBIT A AGAINST A UNITERAL ISRAELI WITHDRAWAL

Charles Krauthammer's latest oped brings up the part of the current Middle East mess that has been largely ignored - the flare-up on the Israeli-Lebanese border. Granted, Israel's record in Lebanon is a dark stain on the country's history, but in the end it did exactly what the international community asked of it - withdrew unconditionally from Lebanese soil. The Arab response to that withdrawal is enough to chill the heart of even the most passionate dove. Where is the outrage from the "enlightened" over the continued Syrian occupation of Lebanon? Where is the international condemnation of Iran and Syria's (through their Hezbollah clients) cruel entanglement of Lebanese civilians in their proxy war against Israel? How can Israel be expected to take the Saudi peace proposal seriously, when the Arab league won't even accept an Israeli withdrawal to internationally recognized borders?
